The stat of the day is that the Pirates were ONLY 1 for 13 in at-bats with runners in scoring position. That was the difference between winning and losing today as the Pirates lose to Seattle by a 7-4 score. The Pirates had baserunners on all night, but could not bring them in. Felix Hernandez allowed 4 runs in 6 innings. Francisco Liriano allowed 7 runs in 3 1/3 innings, and hit a home run too. Gregory Polanco homered for the Pirates. Kyle Seager and Franklin Gutierrez left the yard for Seattle.
