Michael Bennett calls out Dak Prescott at Seahawks camp

The Seattle Seahawks have a message for Dak Prescott.

More specifically, it’s pro bowl defensive end Michael Bennett — who couldn’t help but to call out the Dallas Cowboys’ star quarterback while speaking to NFL Network from training camp in Washington. Why he went for the throat of the 2016 NFL Rookie of the Year out of all 32 starting quarterbacks is unknown, or maybe it is considering the fact that preceded that comma.

In any event, have a look for yourself.

“I’m coming Dak,” said Bennett. “I’m coming, Dak. I’m coming.”

It’s a bit of a weird act by Bennett to set his sights on Prescott, having only faced him in the preseason of 2016 when Tony Romo went down with injury. Even then, it was in a limited capacity as Bennett was a starter and Prescott was still working to prove he was more than a third-string QB.

One year later, the fourth-round pick is the toast of the NFL after leading the Cowboys to a 13-3 record and their second playoff berth in three years. The Seahawks must know what the rest of the NFC does: The road to Super Bowl 52 likely goes through Dallas. What Bennett and Co. has clearly forgotten, however, is to get to Prescott he’ll have to go through the best offensive line in football.

And they just saw this video as well.

Godspeed, sir.

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Seattle Seahawks on Dec. 24 on Fox.
