Ugandan winners of the Standard Chartered Bank Trophy will for the first time compete for a chance to travel to Liverpool with other medalists from the East African Region.

Winning teams from the three East African countries will converge in Tanzania on 4th March to play in the regional qualifier that will see one team represent the Region in the international tournament.
The International 5-aside football tournament featuring ten teams from across the World will take place in Liverpool in May this year.
The Ugandan version of the competition is scheduled to take place on 25th February at Namboole Stadium.
A total 40 selected teams will be legible to play in the local qualifiers.
